Pieces from the first firing of the Kujiragama anagama in the Montseny come to Barcelona
Musubu, in Sants, is showing work from the first firing of Kujiragama, the anagama kiln at Can Brull. It brings together pieces by its three founders and guest artists, transformed by 84 hours of fire. The opening is on 16 October, from 19:00 to 21:00.
Why it matters: It lets you see up close how ash and temperature decide the result in a long wood firing, which is useful if you are thinking about glazes or atmospheric firings.
